🌟 On August 22, 2024, Pak Pioneers Community Organization of Canada enjoyed a fantastic trip to Peterborough, starting with a luxury coach ride that set a fun and lively tone for the day, complete with singing and poetry. Our first stop was the Peterborough Museum and Archives, where the seniors explored the city’s rich history through engaging exhibits. This visit sparked a great deal of interest and provided valuable insights into the past. Next, we headed to Rehman Biryani House for a delicious buffet lunch. The seniors enjoyed a variety of flavorful dishes that left everyone satisfied and happy. In the afternoon, we took a scenic cruise to witness and experience the world’s highest lift lock. This impressive feat of engineering fascinated everyone and added an exciting highlight to our trip. The day wrapped up with a pleasant stroll through the Peterborough Zoo, where the seniors enjoyed seeing the beautiful animals up close. Overall, it was a day full of learning, exploration, and enjoyment. All the seniors greatly appreciated the efforts of Pak Pioneers and the entire team for making this trip so special for them.
